The NSW PoPE "entertainment" laws under our Planning System are
killing the cultural landscape of our suburbs by requiring extensive
and expensive building compliance for bars with artistic activity
whilst ignoring large screens and gambling.
Changes to NSW Planning laws currently before the NSW Parliament
will get rid of the notorious PoPE "entertainment" regulations..... IF
THEY PASS!
THIS IS GREAT! - we want your support for this reform.
There
is a mood for change with the small bars movement that desires a new
night-time economy with art and culture in our bars, restaurants and
cafes that can coexist equally alongside televised sport and gambling,
which also have their place.
We need your vote! - for our Identity, Community, and for Artists to participate in the NSW Economy.
NO OTHER STATE IN AUSTRALIA PUTS UP WITH THIS!
Contact your local member, and ask them to vote for changes to NSW
planning laws THIS WEEK that get rid of PoPE entertainment regulations
and promote JOBS and the cultural landscape of NSW.
