Clover encouraged to drop Small Bars bill

The MP, who is also the Lord Mayor of Sydney, said she was not
hopeful of meaningful change from the Government after meeting with
Office of Liquor,Gaming and Racing Minister Graham West
yesterday.
She said the minister encouraged her to drop the bill and wait for his
Liquor Bill, but she said she could not trust the Government to
introduce the changes she wanted.
"I didn't get an assurance that the small bars category would be
included in the legislation," Ms Moore said. "I know these are big
stakes and there's very strong vested interests [involved]."
