Liquor Bill imminent - A call for action
NSW residents are on notice that the battle for reform is far from over, and that there is still hard work to be done before the new liquor laws are passed by both houses of the NSW Parliament.
The bill is expected shortly, indicated by an
in-depth briefing paper available on the parliamentary website for
members to prepare for the vote.
There are four more sitting weeks of Parliament this year, and when the liquor bill comes up, it will be GAME ON!
This means we not only NEED TO LOBBY OUR LOCAL MEMBERS OF
PARLIAMENT AGAIN from the Lower house of the NSW Parliament using
the Raise the Bar website when you enter your postcode .....
we also now need to concentrate on the NSW Legislative Council, or the Upper House as well. How do we do this?
