Live Lanes - City of Sydney creates a niche bar
Visit the City of Sydney Council Live Lanes page
The City of Sydney has over 100 small laneways. The City believes they could become enticing places for outdoor dining, entertainment and art displays - As a test run, three lanes will be rejuvenated during Art & About.
At night-time, Bulletin Place will become a buzzing laneway bar. Take a walk to the other end of town to check out the art at Albion Place where 30 works by cutting edge artists will line the walls. On your way there, have a look at Temperance Lane which will be awash with coloured lighting.

"As politicians in NSW squabble over the merits of allowing cheap
liquor licences for small bars, the City of Sydney has transformed a
narrow lane near Circular Quay into a temporary bar and music space. In
Melbourne, small drinking establishments in dingy alleys are celebrated
as one of the city's best features".
