New planning laws for NSW to support small bars
Under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment Bill 2008 currently before the NSW Parliament, the dreaded PoPE "entertainment" laws will be replaced with reviewable conditions on licensed premises that encourage more live music / theatre/ comedy / and public speaking instead of just pokies and plasma screens
