Over to you once AGAIN, Barry O'Farrell!
All eyes will be on the NSW Upper House this Tuesday when the debate resumes on entertainment law reform as part of broader changes to NSW Planning Laws.
So far there have been three sets of speeches, and we encourage
you to run a search on the word "entertainment" in these links to see
what (if any) each party has to say on this:
So far only Frank Sartor, Clover Moore, Virginia Judge,Robert
Oakeshott, and Sylvia Hale have even mentioned the
importance of this amendment, and all support changes to PoPE laws,
even if the two non-ALP members don't support the rest of the
Bill.
NSW Small Bars will not have any live entertainment without these laws passing. Could it be that the competition for the entertainment dollar are trying to derail the legislation?
As well as planning another stunt in the vicinity, Raise the Bar will
have a tally in the week ahead as votes are taken, that will note how
each party wishes to be remembered at this milestone in the cultural
life of NSW.
It's now over to you ONCE AGAIN, Barry O'Farrell!
