A Book and Chardonnay outside Parliament
Yesterday the Raise the Bar team and friends convened outside the NSW Parliament on Macquarie street, Book and Chardonnay in hand.
Contrary to those who think this is not what people want in NSW, the
general consensus was that in fact not only was it extremely pleasant,
but also a highly desirable alternative to the limited options
available to NSW thanks to current liquor regulations.
Accompanied by some great live music, much reading and conversation was had, as the staffers, politicians, journalists, and general public made their way past the raise the bar crew outside parliament house.
Many thanks to all who attended, the rocks police for their terrific
good nature, and of course the various people from inside the
parliament who stopped to say g'day or shake a hand.
Raise the Bar.
