Raise the Bar to stay focussed in '08 on the drafting of the Regulations
There is indeed much celebrating being done at the moment
There is indeed much to celebrate at the moment, as the Liquor Bill 2007 was passed through the NSW Parliament last Wednesday evening.
The job is not done, however, as the Regulations for the Bill still need to be completed in the first half of 2008, and competing interests and existing stakeholders will be seeking to influence the process, and dilute certain progressive aspects of the legislation to discourage competition.
